Our Process

A collaborative process from initial concept to final presentation

01. Initial Consultation

Each project begins with a site visit and consultation to understand your vision, goals, and timeline. We review the site’s layout, vegetation, structures, and other key features to make sure the design fits both your needs and the property. This early step also helps us spot potential challenges like zoning, environmental factors, or access so we can create a clear plan and keep the process smooth from concept to completion.

02. Visualization

After the initial consultation, we transition into conceptual design and visualization. Design packages are tailored to the type and scale of each project. Using a mix of hand sketches, digital collages, and advanced 3D renderings, we develop visuals that convey the character and potential of your envisioned space. This stage is collaborative and interactive, allowing us to refine ideas together and ensure the design reflects your goals, preferences, and overall vision.

03. Cost Estimation & Contract Admin

Once we visualize your dreams, we move into cost estimation. The cost estimation phase is not just about crunching numbers, it's a financial roadmap to align on goals, prioritize investments, and anticipate potential challenges during construction. We aim to be transparent in this phase to ensure that projects are grounded in fiscal realism while still being creative and aspirational.

Once we finalize a design and costing, we move into contract administration. We generate computer aided drawings (CAD) drawings—including site plans and detail drawings for precise construction. We work with you to create a payment and build schedule that aligns with your budget and goals.

04. Construction

We then begin the construction phase with demolition and removals. Throughout the build, we work hard to stay up-to-date with industry standards and emerging practices and materials, sourcing locally extracted materials and Canadian manufactured products, when possible. We keep our job sites safe and clean throughout the entire construction phase.

05. Presentation & Protection

The finishing touches and presentation of your landscape project are essential in bringing out the full beauty and functionality of your outdoor space. Every detail, from the placement of flowers to the arrangement of stones and pathways, is carefully considered to create a cohesive and balanced environment that is both visually striking and built to last.

On a project-by-project basis, we develop a customized wintering plan to protect your investment. By considering the specific plants, materials, and features, we ensure your outdoor space remains protected through seasonal changes and continues to look and perform its best for years to come.

Our installations include gardens, patios, outdoor kitchens, shade structures, retaining walls, water features, pools & spas, lighting, and stormwater management.

  • On a project-by-project basis we can provide initial install maintenance and wintering services to ensure your landscape stays healthy and beautiful.
